Hey guys.
Today I've decided to get my
brain cells back from Sydney who stole them quite a while ago. Unfortunately, they got used to write blog entries in
english, so until I send them to
rehab', I'll have to write my entries in the same language Syd writes hers.
It might be a little harder for you to understand what I'm saying. Just consider this as a kind of special
training. (Diga, if you read this, I'm very, so very
proud of you ! You CAN do it !)
So, yeah, what happened in the last week... Let's see.
On Monday, I was teaching my nine years old about
knights and
chivalry. They got so interested in that part of France
history that I could barely send them to the afternoon break. This was the positive part of the day. We also had
class photos... I had some trouble keeping my
group of 28 quiet enough for the picture. But eventually I did it... Things grew a little harder when some of my pupils had to go to other classes to bring their
siblings back for the family shoots. Some were asleep, other had paint all over their shirt, and a little girl of maybe six years old had just had a very nice
haircut from one of her classmates. Hard time ! I was
exhausted when I finally came back to my student room in the evening.
And then, I experimented some kind of nervous
breakdown. I was so tired that I only wanted to crash onto my bed and sleep for at least a century. Problem : the
next morning, my due lesson at the CFP was...
music. Or, to be more specific,
old-and-depressing-songs-from-the-fifties
singing. So i just went knocking on Marianne's door and tried to explain in a quite confused way why I needed poison soooo badly. She gently patted me on the head and sent me back to
bed.
Tuesday was a
horrible day. Music in the morning and french teaching in the afternoon. That's an interesting subject, but not for THREE hours. Really NOT.
On Wednesday, I had a free afternoon. I was supposed to go buy a bathing suit, so that I could go to the swimming pool every Thursday. But Marianne happened to be
sick, so I stayed home and made sure she was OK. And NO, it's not A-Flu. We're fine. For
now. *Fingers crossed, guys...*
Yesterday, I finally got Marianne
out the student home and took her to the "Place de Jaude" to purchase my new bathing suit. And I did so. I also did a very bad
thing and entered by
mistake the book shop next to the sport shop. You know the "
FNAC", right... ? I came out of there with
three
unexpected books. And something like 35 euros in the hands of the shop owners. Dammit, they're so goooood at selling stuff... Means I'm so goooood at
purchasing stuff. And letting my money fly
away. Greaaat.
Today, the class ends at 4 p.m. I think I'm gonna go back at the end of the day and lay on my bed, reading my
freshly-purchased novel.
Next week, I'll
tell you if it was a good one...
See 'ya !
